Kids Voting Wants YOU!
The September attack on America by terrorists has pulled our country together with a new surge of patriotism. You see our flag everywhere – on streets, buildings, houses, cars. All Americans feel the need to take part in the protection of our country. One of our most precious freedoms is our right to vote. The last Presidential election showed us that every vote counts.
The mission of Kids Voting Ohio/Southwestern is to promote responsible citizenship and to encourage students to be lifelong voters. Kids Voting provides citizenship curricula, at no charge, to public, parochial and private schools in Hamilton, Butler and Clermont counties. They also provide volunteers to assist kids voting at polling places throughout the area. Nonpartisan and nonprofit, Kids Voting grew out of a desire to combat the growing voter apathy in the U.S.
